A 33-meter classic Phinisi, hand-built from ironwood and teak by the seafaring communities of South Sulawesi. The Pagi Bumi combines traditional Indonesian heritage with a modern sanctuary, featuring three AC cabins and a spacious rooftop deck for slow mornings on the water. Built for the crossing and the calm in between.

WHO WE ARE

On the Cliff Above Uluwatu

Uluwatu Surf Villas sits on the clifftop above one of the best left-handers in the world. The wave is a private staircase away. Above it: villas built from reclaimed teak with their own saltwater pools, Mana for breakfast and dinner, and a yoga studio for the mornings the swell drops. Most of our staff grew up in Pecatu, the village that keeps Pura Luhur Uluwatu. On the full moon they will dress you in a sarong and sash, drive you to the temple and show you how to pray. We built the place for people who come to Bali to surf, eat well and stay somewhere worth the flight.
